Assistant Professor Sarah King leads a lab uncovering how nanoscale interfaces drive ultrafast dynamics in materials—advancing technologies from photovoltaics and LEDs to heterogeneous catalysis. She develops cutting-edge spectroscopy/microscopy (e.g., PEEM) and co-leads an NIH BRAIN Initiative project to speed whole-brain connectome imaging. Honors include DOE Early Career, Beckman Young Investigator, AFOSR YIP, Cottrell Scholar, NSF CAREER, and a 2025 Sloan Research Fellowship.
